Gillian's (formerly Bedhaha.)

Set amongst the tranquil rainforest, this light and bright two bedroom unit is the ultimate destination for your next hinterland retreat. Located in the heart of Maleny, just a short 5 minute walk to the centre of town where you'll find plenty of interesting shops and eateries. I have two other houses beside this one for rent as well. One has four bedrooms and the other has three. An important add-on note though is that the local branch of Brouhaha Brewery has sadly announced that it's closed.

Perched on the edge of the Sunshine Coast highlands overlooking the ocean from Mt Coolum to north Caloundra, you are surrounded by rolling hills and 166 acres of lush green pastures where fullblood wagyu cattle are farmed. Architecturally designed to capture sea breezes all year round, enjoy a spacious Retreat with 360 degree views, where nights are always cool at this altitude. Nightly rate includes 2 Adults (sleeps 4) and firewood each night. Pet fee is separate for extra hygienic clean.

You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. ONLY Children which are under parental supervision are welcome. NO failed gentle parenting products. No aggressive and destructive kids. Your dog (no XL dogs like Saint Bernard’s etc.) is welcome. There is a fenced yard.

Belltree Ridge - Private Rural Escape

Belltree Ridge is an absolute treasure in a stunning location. It is an extremely unique hand crafted homestead built from reclaimed and local timber. It offers complete privacy and is just 11 kms from the township of Maleny. For winter comfort, a wood burning fireplace and for summer an outside fire-pit . We also have ducted air-conditioning and heating. We now have Starlink Wi-fi but will happily turn it off so guests can really disconnect from their busy lives.

Historic French style mountaintop scenic homestead

Rowan House, a magnificent three-level French-styled residence, is uniquely positioned high in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Perched atop Mount Mellum’s highest north-easterly point, the homestead commands spectacular 180° views of almost 150 km of Australia’s coastline and islands - from Noosa through to Brisbane. The restored mansion was Queensland’s 1942 “House of the Year” and is just a 25 minute drive from beaches. Original tennis court is refurbished.
