The Cabin is contained with A/C kitchen with cooking facilities (no oven) and full bathroom. Large deck with views, breakfast bits provided. Our Hut is self contained accommodation in a fully renovated 100 years old Corn Shed. Decorate old Australiana goods around the building, unique Australian outback feel. We will provide the breakfast hamper include Cereal, Bread, Eggs, Milk, Butter, Jam, Coffee & Tea. You will enjoy a relaxing time with us.

Our 2 bedroom cottage is set on our 200 hectare stud cattle property. Our home is 50m away. The cottage is low set and has soul soothing mountain views of the Brisbane Valley. Situated 3 km from Toogoolawah and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. A peaceful setting to enjoy a country break. Enjoy stunning sunsets & sunrises from our viewing area. Cattle & horses graze peacefully nearby. We are close to the Ramblers Skydiving Centre, Watts Bridge Airfield and a short drive to the Somerset Dam.

The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.

Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

Somerview Cottage - Lake Somerset

All the conveniences of home in our little cottage! Our private home has 2 bedrooms + kids bunk room with expansive views over Somerset Lake and only a 2 mins drive to Kirkleigh boat ramps. This is a brilliant way to holiday with the whole family! 8 guests allowed but a maximum of 4 adults (one queen, one double and bunk beds for 4 kids under 12). Please note - no wifi - we come here as a family to disconnect.
