In a countryside setting, rich in local history allowing you to disconnect & rediscover the joys of living, while only minutes from the Award winning restaurants & wineries in Orange. During our guests stay they can melt their cares away in our custom built wood fired bath tub, looking at the beautiful sunset or stars above. As at this time please note there is no WiFi in the cottage and limited Phone service. A great way to relax and unwind without being completely cut off from the world.

20 Mile Cottage, Country Escape

Welcome to 20 Mile Cottage on the edge of the Turon Goldfields. Originally a 2 room miners cottage from around the end of the gold rush, the cottage now has open kitchen and living areas, slow combustion fireplace, A/C, lots of places to relax, read or work and 2 bedrooms. There are relaxing country views to enjoy and the cottage is shaded by old yellow box gum trees which cast a beautiful light in the afternoons and early mornings. Be verified to book instantly. The Old Dairy is pet friendly 2 bedroom fully self contained accommodation adjacent to one of the older homes in the district. A short walk to a popular Hotel. Five minutes drive to the city centre. Easy access to wineries, parks and dining for which Orange is renowned. Your booking includes use of the tennis court, bbq and fire pit, with wood for one fire. "Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.
