Our apartment sits right on the shores of Lough Conn in the heart of County Mayo, offering breathtaking views across the water and islands, with Nephin Mountain as your backdrop. Set on a private and secluded lakeside property, you can stroll along our sandy beach, wander through woodlands, reconnect with nature, swim in the lake, cast a line, or make friends with our donkeys. Complete with a private hot tub, sauna and private jetty to have a dip. A perfect base for touring the west of Ireland.

ÈALÚ direct Irish translation for ESCAPE is the name of this unique place. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

It is also a short walk to Westport Point where the locals and Tourists swim at high tide. Close to Westport House where you can stroll around the grounds.

Fuchsia Cottage is an oasis of peace and quiet just off the Wild Atlantic Way. Explore the beautiful coastline of North Mayo and relax in this cozy hideaway as you watch the amazing Mayo sunsets from the outdoor seating area. There is lots of space for children and pets to play in the garden and adjoining meadow. Two fabulous beaches are just a short walk away - one is sheltered and secluded, and around the corner from there is the famous Kilcummin Back Strand - wide open to the waves.

The village boasts many attractions for visitors such as the beautiful 11th Century Abbey, Ashford Castle Estate and also being the setting for the classic movie, The Quiet Man. Cong is also the gateway to the Connemara Region, an area of outstanding beauty with rugged scenery and many lakes and mountains to explore.
