Ros cottage was lovingly created and built by its only owner twenty years ago with a design that makes you believe its been there forever. While it looks old and traditional, it is equipped with all the modern amenities one could ever want. Nestled atop a hillside and overlooking the Irish sea and Carlingford Lough, this is a haven for family , or individuals who want to get away from “ the madding crowd “ and live as one with nature. With breathtaking and uninterrupted views over the sea towards the Mourne Mountains , Ros Cottage is a one off and has to be seen to be believed. This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Its a perfect base to enjoy the many walking trails the area has to offer or just kick back and relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.

While still convenient to Dundalk, Blackrock, Carlingford and Carrickmacross. Only an hour drive will take you to both Dublin and Belfast City (M1 Motorway Junction 16) We have lovingly restored and renovated this cottage over the years to provide a cosy and welcoming home.

A spacious 2 bedroom Cottage in a peaceful location 2 miles from the Village of Drumconrath in the north of Co Meath. The Cottage offers an open plan layout with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 cosy bedrooms. Outside there is off street parking, a dining area and lots off room for pets to enjoy safely. Donoghues Pub is a short stroll away and Ardee town a 10 minute drive .
