Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Catherine's Cottage is one of three courtyard cottages with three ensuite bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining/living room, washer/ dryer and underfloor heating. All of the bathrooms have heated towel rails and the bedrooms hairdryers. Sleeps maximum of 6 people. The Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, salmon/trout fishing, golf courses and horseback riding are some of many attractions of this region.

The Lake House, Castletown

The Lake House in Castletown is on the shore of Lough Corrib and has magnificent views over the lake. It is set on a beautifully landscaped 2 acre private site at the end of a quiet country lane. The house comes with its own pier from which a boat can be arranged for fishing or a boat trip. It is an ideal base to explore the west of Ireland or to fish Lough Corrib.
