Delightful, listed, 250 year old thatch cottage named after the famous explorer Eduardo-Alfred Martel is famous for charting Marble Arch cave system. Local Folklore claims that Martel resided within this beautiful cottage in 1895 during his Caving adventures. Suitable for walkers, climbers & fishermen. What was once an old railway cottage has been lovingly restored into a modern and comfortable space to relax and unwind with family or friends. Plenty of dining places and pubs to choose from in and around the town. You can go hill walking on the beautiful Sliabh an Iarainn mountain close by. Try Western style riding in the Equestrian Centre, Drumcoura City, go fishing, play golf in the local golf course.
