Stayed for one night and like many others wish we had more time to stay longer! Exactly as described, beautiful location! 2 minute walk to the village.

Had an amazing 3 days away in the copper cabin .couldn’t recommend it anymore . Defiantly worth more than 5 stars 🌟 Absolutely spotless and so relaxing . 5 mins from beautiful beaches . And a small drive to tramore with lots to do . The hot tub , sauna and cold water plunge even made our stay 10 times better . The cabin has everything you need . Will defiantly be back again was sad leaving . Most beautiful spot 😍

West Cork holds a special place in my heart, this little cabin made our stay very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Matts Firepit in the future. The site is clean with modern conviences.

Perfect getaway! Teresa’s place has everything you need for an amazing escape from the city — perfect, unique, and cozy. The seaweed bath under the stars was magical. The gate suits perfectly to keep our dog safe at all times. It’s a short drive from stunning beaches and charming small towns. We would definitely recommend it.

Val's cabin was lovely, and the views were incredible! We've had an amazing stay between friends. I always love coming to West Cork, and Val's cabin added to the charm of our stay. I highly recommend if you want to feel the nature and be close to all attractions the Beara Penninsula has to offer.

Booked very last minute but arrived to beautiful warm home from home . Mary even popped in with fresh milk, eggs & bread ! Tea coffee cereal etc all available too ! Husband Morgan popped over - they live next door - a couple of times to ensure everything was ok!

When we arrived at the cottage we were stunned by the beautiful landscape.Eileen and Robert gave us the warmest of welcomes, it was the very definition of a warm irish welcome. They had the fire lit for us in the cottage and knowing we were keen hikers , they took the time to go through the book they created detailing all the walks in the area , and also recommended restaurants. This cottage is straight out of the film "The Holiday". Its so beautifully restored , incredibly warm and cosy. If that wasnt enough , they had left us an easter egg as a gift and even left the dogs some treats. We got a variety of weather 3 days were great and 2 days of rain. When we got back from hiking in the rain ,the stove warmed us up in no time. Eileen and Robert made sure we were well stocked with wood. The biggest downside of our stay was that we couldnt stay here forever. Thanks so much Eileen and Robert!

Amazing house and location. Pictures don't do it justice, such a cosy little cottage! No wifi which we saw as a massive opportunity to switch off. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!!

Really enjoyed our second stay in the cabin. Ann knows how to provide a quiet secluded retreat with all the necessary amenities and excellent decor. Definitely will be back next summer ☺️🌄

A beautiful rustic Boathouse in a stunning location set up on the hillside with views accross the bay. We were treated to some amazing sunsets. A 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive takes you down to Baltimore with a handful of great bars amd restaurants set around the harbour. The local information provided and communication from our hosts was above and beyond. Yvonne and Richard live next door and were there if we needed, but never imposed. We even got a very welcome lift back up the hill one evening! They own the local arts and crafts shop on the harbour and this is well worth a visit. This corner of Island is a gem and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cedar Boathouse for your stay.

A beautiful cosy cabin with amazing views and very friendly hosts! Easy check in and very communicative. Thank you so much for having us and we loved the kind note left for us at the beginning! We will definitely be back in future :)

Jenny and her lovely dogs were there to greet us when we arrived. She was very welcoming and informative about where to go for a relaxing drink after our drive. We had a beautiful evening in front of the barbecue and loads of firewood and charcoal. Room was spotless and bed and pillows were very comfortable. If you want peace and tranquility and want to be near to nature , then we would highly recommend Jennys cabins

We absolutely loved staying at Robin’s nest. We had everything we needed and sat out for breakfast every morning in the most beautiful setting. It was very comfortable. Carol was a great host too! Very warm and helpful.

Amazing location with incredible views of the beach. Great for a relaxing few days if you enjoy the beach and walking.

Anke was a great host. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival and the morning views from the deck were better than we could have wished for. If you are staying in West Cork you could do no better.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Joanne’s Hideaway. The views were absolutely breathtaking—easily the most stunning and dramatic landscape we’ve ever experienced. Being so close to the historic Dunlough Castle and lake, perched right on the edge of the Mizen Peninsula cliffs, made the setting feel magical. The residence itself was perfect: spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and were kind enough to accommodate our late check-in with no fuss. We also ordered from the room service menu, and the food was amazing. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist toll & lädt zum Verweilen bei Sonnenuntergang ein. Ein Highlight: Wir wurden mit Marmelade, Scons & Milch herzlich willkommen geheißen. Eine Übernachtung dort können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Wat een heerlijk huisje: alles basic en off-grid, maar daar waren we op ingelezen en maakte de ervaring nog meer ‘back to basic’. Door de uitgebreide voorbereidingen van Shane waren we goed voorbereid en dankzij de instructiefilmjes en snelle behulpzame communicatie, was het tijdens ons verblijf ook erg comfortabel. Zowel de directe omgeving van het huisje als de regio zijn werkelijk prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Alle tips van Shane waren spot-on en hebben we heel erg van genoten. Dank je wel!!

Denise and John were AMAZING hosts!! They made us feel right at home for our short 1 night stay. Everything was perfect from the homemade scones, to the experience itself. They were very flexible with check in time, and they took us on a beautiful tour of the farm. We got to pet the calves, make our own breakfast from their own duck and chicken eggs, learned to milk a cow, and took a short walk through the bluebells into the clearing and saw some amazing views. They even gave us recommendations for nearby sites and restaurants. We also really enjoyed our little “poppy” red cabin! It was just what we needed. Thank you so much John and Denise for being the best hosts ever, we really enjoyed our time there and getting to know you all!
