Situated in the National Park and surrounded by fells such as Scafell Pike and Great Gable, Yewbarrow is in the heart of walking and climbing countryside. The cottage is close to the Cumbrian Coast with St Bees’ long sandy beach and RSPB nature reserve, the historic town of Whitehaven, Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass, with its narrow gauge steam railway which travels to Boot.

View to the Fells is a two bedroom apartment over two floors situated minutes from the centre of Ambleside. Views to Loughrigg Fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe dominate with the rooftops of Ambleside below. The Coniston Fells are also clearly visible (weather permitting). The apartment faces south west and benefits from afternoon and evening sun. A private balcony is accessed from the kitchen; just the place to sit and relax after a day on the fells , so makes the most of the sunsets.

Dorothy’s place Bowness on Windermere

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
