Welcome to our beautiful retreat in the heart of Rural Sussex. This lovely self contained and fully equipped annexe is part of an 18th century barn conversion. Tucked away at the end of a private lane in the hamlet of Small Dole with uninterrupted views across the South Downs National Park, it's a perfect base for exploring the area. We're 30 minutes from Gatwick (parking and transport can be arranged) and Brighton, historic Arundel and glorious Goodwood are all within easy driving distance.

Quaint 1 Bed Cottage Near South Downs Pets Welcome

My place is close to the high street of Steyning which is a quaint and historical town located on the edge of the south downs national park. It has an array of interesting independant shops catering for all tastes , it is on a direct bus link to Brighton and the south coast as well as walking distance to the south downs . The cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, business people and furry friends ( pets ) . It is small but perfectly formed but beware of the low ceilings and doorways.

Welcome to South Lockbarn Cabin which is a converted barn situated in the South Downs National Park and Downs Link. The location is south facing and you have access to the public footpath for outstanding walks, bike rides and views. The cabin is close to Steyning and Bramber historic market towns that offers a range of restaurants, pubs and local shops. Shoreham by sea train station is only 4.5 miles and Brighton is only a half hours drive. Nearest pub and local shop is only a short walk away.

Riverbank Retreat is a cosy unique wooden cabin nestled on the riverbank of the River Adur. It is situated in the country's smallest RSPB bird reserve and is the perfect place to get away and relax. The cabin is fully self contained and guests will have all they need to enjoy their stay! On your doorstep you will find the ever changing scenery of the river estuary, the wildlife, walks in the South Downs. The picturesque town of Shoreham by Sea is nearby, and the beach is a 1 minute walk away.

The Loft We’re situated a stones throw from the South Downs Way, approximately half way between Winchester & Eastbourne. Ideal for those who are walking/cycling the SDW. The loft is a bright & comfortable studio. Ideally for 2 adults, but a 3rd adult/child can be catered for, a Z bed is available on request. There is also a conservatory which can be opened up into the garden which is south facing and views onto the Downs a short walk away. There is space for 2 cars in the drive and others right outside in the close. The kingsize room is ensuite with the double having its own bathroom across the hall. Easy access from the A27 and bus 5B into Brighton make this the perfect holiday home.
