We returned to the Bay Area from the East Coast for a family event - and were lucky to find Charlie and Jenny’s place very close to where family lives. Communication was amazing even before the trip began . The apartment is on the bottom of Charlie and Jenny’s house and very private . There is a separate parking space, which is a a huge bonus in the area. The living space is VERY roomy - much more so than I expected from pics! SUPER clean , and SUPER well stocked, with lots of personal touches . Loved the kitchen and bathroom !!! I had to do some work during the week and there was a woke space as well. Two comfy bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, extra blankets, pillows, pool/beach towels - you name it. We met both Charlie and Jenny in person and they were so lovely to chat with . Charlie gave lots of great restaurants info ! If you travel with family or kids- they also will find so many toys, games- even bathtub toys ! Since we will return to the area, I would absolutely return!

I absolutely loved Sue's quiet, adorable cottage in Oakland. It was everything I wanted and more. She adds special touches that are above the normal expectations. There were snacks for us upon arriving too tired to go to the store. The mattress was amazingly comfortable. All amenities you could possibly need in the bathroom and kitchen and all very clean. Thank you Sue for sharing your home with us.

버클리 대학교와 걸어가기 아주 편한 위치에 있고 ,주차가 가능해서 좋았습니다. 숙소내부는 인테리어는 깨끗하지만 , 먼지 청소가 깨끗하게 되어있지가 않아서 좀 아쉬웠습니다 . 화장실 내부가 너무 좁긴합니다 .특히 세면대는 아주 아주 작습니다 . 샤워커튼 곰팡이나 수건등 교체가 필요해보입니다 . 그렇지만 편안하고 꽤 안전해보이는 숙소입니다 . 청소 상태만 좋아진다면 다음에 다시 이용하고 싶습니다 .

This is a great place to stay, full stop. It can be very hard to find a centrally located, ultra-quiet, comfortable and safe place that is also walkable to campus in Berkeley. I was able to do focused research here during the day and at night. Easy stroll down to the Elmwood cafes and restaurants or up past Monkey Island Park to Claremont Canyon -- all through beautiful Berkeley neighborhoods. Living space is very cozy with views out to the towering redwoods in the yard. Off-street parking spot. Looks exactly as depicted in the pictures. Robert was responsive and available if there were any issues, but there weren't any.

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

Alexander’s place was the perfect stay for my family. His place was clean and well organized. The kitchen pots and pans were in great condition and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely recommend staying here!

Vitalina maintains a comfortable, updated and unique apartment. We stay regularly and always find it clean and ready to accommodate us.

Annie and Alex‘s Airbnb is wonderful! It’s in a great location, well designed, clean and modern, and equipped with all of the items you would want in the kitchen. You have access to a beautiful outdoor garden with dining table and chairs. Location! While you can walk to the best shopping for fruits and vegetables, there is free street parking as well. BART is a quick 13 minute walk! Lastly, Annie and Alex are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We would highly recommend their AirBnb for either short or longer stays

Had a great stay at Shimmy’s place! Large, beautiful space with all the details considered. Lovely quiet building in a great area convenient to everywhere I wanted to be.

Geräumige und stilvolle Wohnung. Ruhig gelegen und doch gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, leckere Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung, die Lage und die sehr netten Vermieter uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Lovely room with double bed. Also, with kitchen available, but I didn't need. Alison is a great host and responds quickly to inquiries and emails. Would stay again next time.

Interior was spacious with a good heating system that us old travelers appreciate. Two level unit made it easy when one of the guests my want late morning sleep-in. The Mid Eastern carpets were a pleasant touch of home. Overall a comfortable place away from home.

I've stayed at many nice Airbnbs, but Michael's place was different. It has all the things I value most: a gracious, friendly and helpful host, a prime location in a great neighborhood and a well-equipped, comfortably furnished clean space. But Michael's house has something else: an owner who has put all of themselves into a house they offer to the public. It is clear that this entire building has been well-loved during the 20 years that Michael has owned it. It was truly a special pleasure to be able to enjoy it, if only for a few nights.

Came here for a weekend getaway trip, to celebrate me and my partner's 2-year anniversary. The place gave us that privacy and comfort that we very much needed, and within our budget. It was a beautiful and safe location, not too far away from the city but not too close either. It had amazing views, and the vibe of the place was adorable and right up my alley with the vintage styles. Also, by far one of the best kitchens I've been in when it comes to the Airbnbs I've visited!! Thank you again for having us 💜

Our stay at Carl’s place was fabulous!! We loved the area and the walkability was amazing. The Chase Center is down the street; it offers a beautifully designed green space right by the water. Carl was a delightful host and the unit was well appointed. We LOVED having Gus’s Community Market right next door. What a treasure!!! We will definitely return:)

This is such a lovely studio. Super comfy and spotless. The bed is very comfy, the kitchenette was just right for making a quick breakfast, and I loved the deck - could have lounged on the deck chairs for days enjoying the sun and the view. The neighborhood is gorgeous. Quiet but inviting, with some very impressive architecture, and several fantastic little local parks. Everything is pretty steep in the area, and it makes you feel like you're in a different world from the rest of the city. Jan was very responsive and helpful, and we had exactly the relaxing weekend we needed.

This spot was the perfect location for my spouse to stay for a few days, while in-town for a wedding. The apartment was comfortable and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the stay!

Our stay at 1716 Lofts (hosted by Advanstay) was terrific, and it solved a particular need of ours (an interim stay between homes) very well. The location rocks: You can easily walk to Melo’s, CorePower Yoga, 5 Tacos & Beers, Barnes & Noble – all the downtown Walnut Creek highlights, and without having to find parking, which can be tricky. Speaking of parking, the property’s assigned garage space was secure and convenient. The TV and sofa-sectional viewing area were well-thought-out and comfortable. The appliances were of higher quality than you usually find in short-term rentals – excellent dishwasher, fridge, and microwave, as well as a generously sized washer and dryer. The walk-in shower stood out in the bathroom – you don’t often find that in short-term rentals, either. All in all, we give this property very high marks!

This has to be the best value possible if you are going to the Moscone Center. It was a great place to stay.

A huge and beautiful house with a personal touch, not one of those generic Airbnbs filled with Ikea furniture. Everything was great, we had a wonderful time. Would have been fun to meet the hosts and learn about the place!

This is our second time staying here. The location is great. Easy street parking and a short drive to Berkeley campus to visit our son. Lots of restaurant choices in the area and the kitchen is equipped so we could cook for him as well.

This is actually run by the Donatello as a stealth account - pretty weird, but the staff is fantastic and overwhelming helpful and positive. If you have a conference at the Moscone Center, this is the best price, location, and quality ratio out there.
