Campbell Folk School and less than 5 miles to downtown Murphy where you will find local shops, dining, and the small town atmosphere that will have you wanting more.

Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Nestled in the mountains of Hayesville NC you will find Owl’s Nest. A perfect retreat for 2 people, this one bedroom one bath apartment is located in the upper story of a large barn (no worries, as there are no animals below) . (Dry storage for motorcycles.) For those who love to fish there is a 2 acre stocked fishing pond with bass, catfish, sunfish & more (catch and release only), as well as approx 250’ of creek frontage on Tusquittee Creek for trout fishing.

Please note this is an older wood cabin in a small town with the woods right in our yard.
