A few miles away there are Nature Reserves and places of historical interest. You can enjoy long walks and/or cycling further afield along the seafront. Clacton Pier is about 20 minutes walk away where you’ll also find a good choice of restaurants etc. The cottage has its own private entrance with parking. There are also regular train and bus services.

We have always been inspired by Tiny houses so we created our own compact bijou, a warm open space building that can sustain a 2 meter foot print set in the grounds of our country cottage. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Close to the sea and fields. Great for relaxing or walking your dogs. Holland Beach is a 15 minute walk and the nearest dog park is a 5 minute walk across the road. We only rent to over 21's. All dogs are welcome at no extra charge but must be kept on a leash, whilst out on site. Great bus service into Clacton town and direct buses to Colchester, St Oysth and Harwich. Club house has decent acts on but you must purchase site passes to watch.

Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Ideal location whether you are visiting Clacton for business or leisure. A 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the sea front. The town centre supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and so is the town centre. There is off-road parking for 1 car. Aside from the beach, popular local amenities include the pier and arcades as well as the cinema (£3.50) and there are plenty of great local restaurants. All within easy walking distance.
