There is an awesome firepit area located right on the shoreline with views of Autrain Island, Grand Island and more... Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. This cozy, 2 bedroom apartment is situated on our quiet 30 acre property 9 miles from downtown Marquette and 45 min from Pictured Rocks in Munising. The apartment is separate from our home. The apartment is above our barn, one flight of stairs. We have frontage on Big Creek which connects to gorgeous Lake Superior. We have kayaked and fished from our spot to the big lake. About a mile to antique shopping, restaurants, bars, Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking or hiking and mega RAMBA Trails.

Bayview

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Yellow Dog Yurt - Peace and Quiet near Marquette

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking
