Park car at my place and I’ll drive you to the beginning of the trail. I am also 5 miles from Wild Mountain ski resort and 10 miles from Trollhaugen. Or into wine, three vineyards within 20 minutes and bead shop.

River Song Cottage * quiet retreat

River Song Cottage is nestled along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, near downtown St. Croix Falls. You will find 2 bedrooms (1: queen bed, 2: twin over full bunk + twin trundle), 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open dining/ living room area, and a large deck and backyard that cozies up to the wooded banks of the St. Croix River. The wooded lot between our yard and the river belongs to the National Park Service. Public trails can be accessed through the visitor center next door.

Taylors Falls offers great outdoor adventures like hiking in Interstate State Park, activities on the St. Croix River, and exploring the Franconia Sculpture Park, with the added bonus of good restaurants and beautiful landscapes!

*DRY cabin* A peaceful escape next to Wild River State Park & the St Croix National Scenic Riverway. Enjoy hiking, kayaking, campfires, sunsets, stargazing, and more. Kayak rentals and/or shuttle service available onsite. Guided river trips available upon request. Combine your stay with one of our outdoor survival or foraging/plant ID classes! Message for more info! Please note this is a DRY cabin but there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin. Bathroom is outside the cabin.

Welcome to your very own private retreat on North Center Lake! A short drive from the twin cities brings you to the wonderful city of Lindstrom. This home is situated on over an acre on North Center Lake with beautiful trees surrounding the property to allow for plenty of privacy. This home can sleep up to 8 people. It provides 2 queen beds, 1 full bed and 2 twin beds. North Center Lake is one of the chain of lakes is Chisago County and is known for great bass fishing.

On the East side of West Rush Lake, spanning 1.1 acres with shoreline on two sides, the property has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, WiFi and smart TVs in the LR, loft, and primary. Recreationally, there’s ping pong, foosball, hot tub, private beach area, outdoor firepit (byow), and easy access to fishing, boating, and more! Enjoy a nearby golf course with simulators or two lakeside restaurant for dining. Additionally, a winery, waterpark, and casinos all within a half hour.
