The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

Bear's Den Lodge has a great view from the dock of Osprey Lake. Which is located about 15 minutes from downtown Hayward. This amazing cabin is private, with a beautiful deck to enjoy the scenery. There is plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy your vacation to make special memories. You can enjoy fishing and kayaking on Osprey Lake. Great trails for Snowmobile/ATV access located within 2 miles of the property. Trails are well groomed for many miles of riding.

Sunset views. Firepit. Corn hole provided! Occupancy: The County has implemented occupancy limits which impact all short-term rentals based on septic system size. My limit is now 12 overnight guests. Many other properties in the county are now limited to 8 guests.
