The cabin looks exactly like the photos! Quiet, peaceful, respectful; needed after a 12 hour drive. Detailed directions were great, and it's around the corner from some stores. A later check-in is easy, just call in advance. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water was consistent the entire 10-12 min shower. The cabin itself is two units, so in the AM I could hear the neighbors packing up, etc. but it was minimal. Driving from Phoenix to Lincoln, this specific route actually trimmed 20 mins off the google maps suggested route. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in one of Kelly’s properties in LaJunta and we hope to do it again the next time we are passing through the area. I would say it feels like home, but we don’t keep our place as clean as Kelly’s. 😊 Both of the neighborhoods were quiet and we got a good night’s sleep. We enjoyed the chickens at one place and the eggs at the other. I would highly recommend her properties to our family and friends.

We planned to stay 2 weeks. The unit was well stocked with all of the essentials and provided plenty of space for a family of 6. We have a family urgency and the host understood our change in the dates. Highly recommend this place and we will go back soon.

Thanks for enjoyable weekend at your place, Brad. La Junta KOA meet all our needs for a quick trip to La Junta for college wrestling. Friendly Host- clear instructions for our stay. Our little Cabin B was comfortable -clean - fully stocked with linen/towels/kitchen items. Pet area was also clean/stocked with bags for clean up. We want to return in the summer months to explore the area more. Community is rich in ranching and railroad history. KOA has some cool rail cars on the property. Caboose to rent! Love to try the Caboose next trip! Nikki Mark McCulley Carlsbad NM

The KOA felt safe and peaceful. There was road noise but it wasn’t terrible, especially when we closed the windows. We liked the cabin and slept well. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant. We would suggest a small light on or by the outdoor table. We had to use our cell phone flashlights to see well enough to eat dinner after dark. Not a deal-breaker tho. This was the most we’ve paid for an Airbnb. We would stay there again. It was our first time seeing the tarantula trek., which we loved. Host made good dining recommendations.
