Rustic cabin w/sauna on Portage Lk

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

High-end glamping in the Keweenaw Peninsula. This tiny house/cabin features two lofts with queen-sized beds, a wood burning fireplace, dock with paddle boat on two acre pond, access to the Pike River and 20 acres of land for hiking and recreation. Cook in the kitchen or over the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna and cool off with a dip in the pond. Bring a fishing rod and catch dinner out of the pond or the river! No running water but indoor composting toilet and a rain barrel/sink.

Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Handicap accessible with stairlift from garage. Full sized bed with additional pullout couch.

Located 1 mile from Michigan Tech, 2.5 miles from downtown, and right next to the Tech Trails, this property affords direct access to over 600 acres of world class nordic skiing, hiking and biking - all right outside the door! With a warm luxury lodge-like feel, wood fireplace, sauna, finished lower level (including a Ping Pong table) and a large private yard surrounded by woods, it's perfect for couples, families, or larger groups.

This studio space is all fresh and new, located in west Hancock. Parking is easily accessible with a ground floor entryway. Downtown Hancock and Houghton are just minutes away. Located near the Hancock beach. If you aren't a camper but enjoy the day activities come and stay with all the luxuries of home. Studio size kitchen and a king size bed. We just added a heater/ air conditioner that is adjustable by the guest. The feedback has been great!

Right on the snowmobile trail, and convenient for all of the Copper Country’s activities: snowmobiling, skiing, biking, touring historical sites, Michigan Tech, etc. Entire upstairs of a detached garage. Private entrance. Well insulated for sound and comfort. Only 3 1/2 miles to Houghton/Hancock, and close to the airport. Trailer parking available. Crib and high chair available upon request.

Relax with friends and family at this peaceful cozy cabin. A perfect 4 seasons cabin on a the ravine river. Enjoy steelhead trout fishing, walking in the woods, winter sports ect. Near Lake Superior. Finn’s bar and grill, and huron bay trading post for groceries and gas. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Silver River. A cozy log cabin beautifully hand crafted by the owner himself. There is one queen size bed along with a futon that folds out into a twin bed and a convertible couch which also folds down into a twin bed. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, 4 wheeling, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, hunting and much more!

We are about 3 miles from Hancock/ Houghton, and about 3 miles from the airport. An ideal location to tour all the area attractions. No pets or smoking. Crib available on request.
