Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. We are only minutes from visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, skiing at Mt La Crosse, fishing the Mississippi, hiking the bluffs, checking out Amish goods, and exploring close by cities and towns such as La Crosse, Stoddard, Coon Valley, Westby, Viroqua and others.

Stoddard: Rocky's Supper Club (Wed-Sat), Thursty Turtle Bar and Kwik Trip. Public boat ramp and park just down the road.

The place gives you a cabin feel close to La Crosse! 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Mt. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. No cleaning fee!

The River Shack

Available year round. Perfect for a family get away or for hunters and fishermen. Full kitchen, 2 tables set up for eating. Large carport for parking under or sitting under if it is raining, you don't have to be trapped inside. Enclosed porch that looks out over the Great Mississippi River. Every sunset is beautiful!! Seating outside, firepit (bring your own firewood), swingset and sandbox for little ones. Also has your very own bar & TV. FYI. Property is by the rail road tracks.

Located on the Fuglsang Family Farm with walking trails and a creek that runs through the property. This cabin is perfect for those who seek some quiet and solitude or want to be immersed in the forest, yet a short drive to restaurants or night life. New Hot Tub in November, 2024!!

Hidden Falls Cabin

Tucked away in one of the Driftless Region's many valleys, you find our quaint cabin over a small bridge that spans our creek. Get a break from the hustle & bustle with us in a cabin with all modern amenities and a handcrafted charm we've worked to cultivate for you. This cabin is on our property where we reside, as well as rental property, with two tenants. All guests and well behaved dogs are welcome for an addition dog fee!

The Home Place

Welcome to the Home Place, a fourth generation farm. The Home Place was a working dairy farm up until the winter of 2018, and the Oldenburg's still plant over 270 acres of corn, soybeans, oats and alfalfa. All four generations of the Oldenburg's refer to the farmhouse as "The Home Place". This homey farmhouse is located in rural Wisconsin, and embodies the essence of a traditional farmhouse with modern updates.
