We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

Our group of friends (a few adults and a few babies) absolutely loved our weekend at the Farmhouse! It’s a beautiful home and surrounding area, and an easy drive to downtown Stowe and the mountain. Highly recommend!

Sally was extremely responsive when it came to communication, and her binder gives you everything you could possibly need to know about not only the house but the whole area in general. She is an amazing host

We were very pleased to find this space so refreshingly warm and inviting. It suited our needs exactly. I spent hours on the porch just sitting and relaxing.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Home away from home! Susan was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and communicated quickly. This home was perfect for our group of 6 and it was extremely cozy! This was our first time in Vermont and it definitely exceeded all of our expectations. If you looking for a pleasant place to stay with amazing views, look no further than this adorable Airbnb! We skied in Stowe, toured the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory down the road and enjoyed some live music at the ZenBarn. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to visit again soon :)

We absolutely loved staying here! In fact, we loved it so much that we definitely want to come back again next year for another ski trip! The hosts were extremely kind, responsive, and flexible. Our dogs loved playing with their adorable two pups and had tons of space to run around. The house is awesome! It was spotless, cozy, and way bigger than expected. What a great spot! Located perfectly between Montgomery and Jay Peak. Tucked back off the main road in a lovely private community. Such a great place for family’s and dog friendly which is huge! Rich was great to work with as well. Very quick to respond. Thanks again Rich!

Tout était parfait. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner chez Elaine. Le logement était très tranquille et l'accé au SPA parfait. Il y a beaucoup de chose à faire à Magog et les environs. C'est une ville très active et les restaurants sont très bien.

Linda was a fantastic host, and her home was even better than listed. The cabin was a good size for our family of four + dog; the 2 bed / 2 bath arrangement allowed for good privacy when needed. The fireplace was great for apres and winding down at night. Location is a nice mix of seclusion (off the Mountain Rd), but close to everything.

We had an amazing stay, this trip far exceeded our expectations and staying in such a nice place made everything so much more enjoyable. This spot was the perfect mix of private and secluded while still also being very close to Stowe, and Johnson. We were able to complete everything on our itinerary while also being able to come back every night to a beautiful home with everything we needed. It was very nice to be able to sit down with family we havent seen in so long and enjoy an amazing home cooked meal or play some board games. Thank you Kristin for your amazing hospitality. This has made Vermont one our favorite states to visit. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Mike’s place for 3 nights while skiing at Jay Peak. Ideal location and was just the perfect layout and space for my party of 6. Even with 3 adults and 3 kids there was still plenty of extra space for additional guests. Some nice restaurants just down the street towards Montgomery. The space was also ideal for cooking in and enjoying time with everyone. Have been to Jay Peak often and would certainly be interested in renting again.

House is even better in person: high quality furnishings, beds, etc. Florence was very easy to communicate with and even helped us get some lift tickets. Highly recommend.

Mary was wonderfully responsive and answered any question we had. Her directions to the place were extremely helpful in finding it. It's very close to the ski mountain we were going to and there are lots of restaurants just minutes from the house. Lovely place.

E.V.’s funky parlor was perfect for my friends and I to stay for a couple nights. Everything was very clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the price is reasonable for being 15 min from Stowe. We appreciated the thoughtful decorative touches and art, E.V. has created a peaceful, cozy space for guests to enjoy. Our visit focused mostly on skiing but I am certain that a stay during another season would be just as pleasant.

very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

The cottage was cozy and peaceful, perfect for a winter weekend getaway! There was about 3 to 4 feet of snow on the ground but the stove kept the cottage nice and warm. The area was beautiful and we had a great time! We highly recommend staying here if you're visiting northern Vermont!

This is a very special place, new, nice decor, beautiful landscape scenery and sunset. Perfect for relaxation and decompression. The location is beautiful and the house is well equipped. Loved it ! Thanks Shelley, you were very nice and caring.

Perfection. We had such a great experience for our relatively last minute end-of-season ski trip up to Stowe. First, the hosts are super. Responsive, flexible, friendly, and proactive. Even before arriving, they helped direct us to a grocery store. We had six inches of snow overnight, and they left out a shovel and car cleaner so we could get to the slopes quickly to take advantage of the fresh powder. Second, the place is stocked and has so many special touches. We decided to do a cook-in salmon for dinner. I totally forgot the salt and olive oil, but they had it right there. And it was the good salt. It is a weird thing to like higher-end salt, but there it is. They had all the pans, dishes, cutlery you could want. Plenty of towels, paper towels, laundry stuff, etc. It made everything just so easy. Third, the space was so comfortable. Great beds, a luxurious soaker tubs, a big smart TV, and a really comfortable couch. We highly, highly, highly recommend and hope to return.

Great place to stay for a single person or a couple seeking a quiet setting, walks in the woods, or skiing at Stowe. No other houses in sight. Excellent value for money. Some details we loved: The lighted address sign, so when arriving after a long trip at night we knew we were in the right place. The wood stove was easy to use and the radiant heat was great after a winter day outdoors. The cabin is cozy, but that is not a euphemism for claustrophobic: it has lots of windows, two skylights, and plenty of space. Very communicative and hospitable host, Stephanie. We only dealt with her remotely, but she has a caretaker nearby. She made us feel welcome and was alway there to help. Our stay had more of a personal, than a corporate feel, which we appreciated. We were glad we had 4-wheel drive and snow tires. . guests should be sure to have one of those and, ideally, both, especially when snow is expected, as Stephanie will tell you. We would be happy to return to this home away from home.

I had a great stay at Peter's place. It felt private and quiet despite being attached to the main house. Spacious and clean with very a comfortable mattress. Thank you, Peter!
