We really enjoyed our stay. So close to the Bearwallow trail head. Very convenient to restaurants and gas stations.

This was a beautiful and peaceful getaway in the mountains! I was able to relax and unwind after a hectic start to the year. Bedding was the most comfortable and I actually forgot to look at the mattress name before I left because I wanted to buy one for myself! The bathroom was really pretty and the soaking tub was great! The kitchen was very accommodating and had everything I needed! My favorite part was curling up with a good book in front of the gas fire place and watch the snow fall outside. There is a keypad to enter the home, which died in the middle of my stay. I called Nancy and they came down right away to let me in and change the batteries. I highly recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to get up and back down but still possible in a front/rear wheel drive. I will definitely be back!

Our stay was great. Chelsea was super helpful as a host and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as best as possible would highly recommend staying at their place super peaceful and relaxing.

From booking to check out Sharon was quick to respond and very helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we walked into her house. Beautifully decorated, spacious and has every amenity one would need. No detail was missed for their guests. Everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. The home brings a calm for relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We loved our weekend stay and will surely be back.

Loved the large covered front porch with swing, gliders, & rocking chairs. Being outside was a favorite pastime because of the peaceful, quiet, private setting. The guys did a lot of fishing and caught bluegills, bass, & catfish and we enjoyed a continual campfire. We plan to stay there again.

The place was exactly as described. It was convenient for what we needed. The home was very clean and had all the needed amenities.

Margaret was a fabulous host. Looks like the pictures but also has so many unique curated design. She was extremely accommodating, and friendly. Though we found a pet sitter last minute- Being pet friendly was such a bonus. As we usually bring our small dog for hikes and visiting. You can truly feel the intention and heart that goes into her space. Not only does she have an eye for art. But when inquired, she shared they were a local artist. I love how she clearly supports her local community. And recommended some local cafes, and coffee shop. The overall feel was she is a very thoughtful and intentional host. Highly recommend her space!

I was in town on business and stayed 3 nights at the Town Mtn Villa #2. The unit was 1 of 3 units located in a large log cabin. The surroundings and outdoor views look just like pictures in the listing. Large decks and beautiful sitting areas surround the log cabin. The unit was very recently updated and offered a full oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The unit is just minutes to Pike U and Pikeville proper. The location was easy to find and access. The price per night was an exceptional value for the quality of the unit. Overall I would give it 5 out of 5 stars and recommend this unit to anyone looking for an alternative to the hotels in the area. One thing to note: you may not get to park near the unit. Parking is somewhat limited, with only 2 small upper parking spots and multiple units available for rent. Parking next to the unit is not guaranteed. To address this they offer additional parking areas over the hill near the roadway. Great place, would rent again.
