Grandma's Farm, a family home with barn & garage located about 5 miles from town with 2.5 mi gravel road. The corral & barn stalls allow you the opportunity to give 2 horses a place to stay. Both Iola and Humboldt communities are within minutes of our beautiful homestead which gives you the perfect escape from town life. Southwind Rail Trail 1/2 mile away.

Our home was built in 1930 and we’ve made many updates to turn it into a charming home away from home! Each bedroom is spacious with a king bed. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms featuring queen sized beds, the bedrooms are accessed by stairs and are connected by an open walk way featuring the exposed beams. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for a meal, and there is a laundry area for use. Watch the native wildlife in the wooded area surrounding the cabin just 3 miles north of Iola, KS.

Poppy's Place

Inspired by a swatch of wallpaper found in the attic, 'Poppy's Place' is decorated to bring you back in time to the 1930's. Bright, bold and cheerful colors were introduced into homes at that time to help keep people inspired during the dust bowl of the Great Depression. The 1930’s was the decade that fell directly in between WWI and WWII and Poppy Flowers were, and still are, a symbol of hope and remembrance for fallen soldiers. Office offers a day bed.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
