Welcome to Indigo Woods Cabin! I We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of hiking trails. The Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Smith Mountain Lake, James River, and Carvin Cove reservoir are also close. Feel close to nature while being close to conveniences of shopping and nice restaurants just down the mountain in Salem and Roanoke. One bed/bath with a pull out sofa in living room. Pet friendly! Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Mother Earth w/ hot tub,View, 3 miles from I-77.

Blue Ridge Parkway, soaking tub, hot tub, internet, coffee, hiking, and a view in Fancy Gap. Great for groups. What is needed for Glamping? Clothes, food, We have everything else covered! we own a nice fishing spot 3 miles away that my guests are welcome to. Mother Earth is super comfy with plush blankets washed between each stay, comfortable seating and open the dome to enjoy that fresh mountain air! There is a propane fireplace and a minisplit for heat/ac.
