Polly Cottage

Located in Knowle next to Grimshaw Hall which was built in 1560 with private views overlooking the lake, down a private road with car park and a separate private entrance. Our cosy cottage sits within the grounds of our home, which used to form part of the Grimshaw Hall estate. It has secluded private views with use of its own garden area with table and chairs on a private decking area. We are located 10 mins from the NEC and airport, 3 mins from J5 M42. The Grand Union Canal runs to the rear.

Our little guest house is perfect for a couple wishing to explore the local area. 5 minutes from Solihull, 10 minutes from the NEC and airport 15 minutes to Birmingham City Centre 20 minutes to Warwickshire 50 minutes to the Cotswolds There is a private entrance via a shared garden, a small kitchen and living room. A cosy bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom. There is also a sofa-bed suitable for little ones in the living room. Guests can use the courtyard to the side of the apartment.

Tucked away in a delightful rural hamlet, our beautifully converted 16th century barn sits within the private, attractive grounds of our family farmhouse. Despite the countryside feel, the NEC, Birmingham International Train Station, the shops and restaurants at Resorts World/The Genting Arena, and our excellent local gastropub are all 20-30 mins walk, and Birmingham Airport is a 5 minute drive. It is the perfect place for visitors to the area and great for stopovers before taking flights

The Water Tower at Long Meadow Farm

The Water Tower at Long Meadow Farm, sits on the edge of an orchard and has spectacular views across the Warwickshire countryside. It has been converted into comfortable accommodation sleeping 4 in two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Every attempt has been made to preserve the original components of the water tower . For singles/couples looking for a semi rural one-bedroom cottage to escape to, with excellent motorway links, also popular with professionals seeking an alternative to a hotel room. The cottage was a stable back in the day when the house was named Horsley Cottage in the 1800's. The homestay includes a log burner, underfloor heating, microwave, slow cooker, coffee machine & bathroom. There is a dining table which could be used as a workspace, lounge & first floor bedroom. It is handy for local transport with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive and a bus to Solihull every hour. Dorridge station is a 15 minute walk with trains to Birmingham Moor Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, and London Marylebone. The NEC and Resorts World are 15 minutes by car.
