There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls. Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain offer skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. There is exceptional mountain biking as close as 8 miles from the house. Zip lines and other attractions near by.

It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Our cottage is within walking distance to parks, amazing restaurants, Union Square, Lenoir Rhyne - Helen & Leonard Moretz Stadium and Salt Block museums and concert hall. Lake Hickory is a short 15-minute drive. There are plenty of boat and Stand Up Paddleboard rentals for water enthusiasts and miles of water to boat, ski and fish on.
