This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

My space is ideal for couples and the solo traveler alike. My Studio apartment is attached to my home (a traditional Irish farmhouse) . We are surrounded by the most spectacular mountains on 3 sides and to the front it opens up to the beautiful Derriana lake. When you look out the front window of my studio you will be greeted by the lake and see Waterville in the distance. I am situated about 20 minutes from the village of Waterville and about 20 minutes from the town of Cahersiveen.

Delightful cosy cabin set at the base of Pine trees in the rear garden of our bed and breakfast property. 4 mins drive (15 mins walk) from Dzorgen Beara Buddhist and Meditation Centre and a 5 minute walk / clamber to the cliffs. Castletownbere Fishing town with pubs and restaurants is 8 mins drive one way and Allihies village with beach and pub grub 14 mins the other way. Fantastic area for walking and cycling. The cabin is self catering and a selection of evening meals are available.

We are a working beef farm and can look after your bikes/motorbikes on site in a safe environment. The Pods have wonderful mountain views and to those who enjoy nature and getting away from the madness for a little while, then this is for you. Each pod is like a little mini apartment. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water.
