The San Rafael Swell, Huntington Lake, Joe’s Valley Reservoir and the Manti-La Sal National Forest are only minuets away and offer easily accessible summer and winter activities. It is also located just a couple hours away from Arches National Park, Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park for an easy day trip.

Deer often come onto the backyard in the evenings, so you can enjoy the sunset next to the outdoor fireplace as you watch the wildlife. Helper's Historic downtown is an approx 1/4 mile walk to the east (down the historic staircase, under the freeway tunnel & over the swinging bridge). The town is filled with character & history. It is a great stay for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to recharge. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a small fee.

Historic 1911 Miner's Cottage - Winter Quarters

The Miner's Cottages in Historic Helper, Utah were built in 1911 to house miners from 27 different countries. Recent renovations have retained their historical ambiance, combined with newly restored modern conveniences. Beautiful front porch is a perfect place to watch incredible sunsets and meet locals. The kitchen is equipped with high quality cooking gear and the bed, linens, towels are all high quality. Fiber optic high speed WIFI with plenty of speed for streaming.

The 211 Getaway

The Getaway is located just 120 southeast of Salt Lake City. Within walking distance to downtown historic Helper. Meander on the walkway by the river or visit some of the local shops along main street. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Quiet peaceful neighborhood, in Historic Helper Utah..its a perfect spot for hiking, biking, fishing, boating and lots of different activities, or just relaxing in the jetted tub or watching the 70 inch TV. Helper City has a lot of Art Gallerys to Visit. We have the world tallest coal miner BIG JOHN. The amtrax train stops here in helper.. Half way spot between Moab(ARCHES CANYON) and Salt Lake City..
