Forest Lodge Nature Lookout 15 min to downtown

Cedar Lodge is a chalet cabin lookout on the North summit of Forest Park. Privately located in a wilderness sanctuary only 15 minutes by car to PDX city center & 10 minutes to Linnton, Bethany, Hillsboro and St Johns. Arrive & unwind in an elevated private spa overlooking a forested canyon. Relax with a campfire under stars & towering 300 year old Doug Firs while serenaded with world famous Pacific chorus tree frogs. This cozy space, nestled behind our main house, welcomes you with a private entrance and a convenient kitchenette. Plus, enjoy access to a beautiful deck, and fire pit area exclusively for guests. You'll love the peaceful atmosphere and the mid-century style with live plants, lots of natural light, and captivating art—all while savoring views of our majestic Redwood tree.

Wine country retreat with amazing views

This lovely tree top space is attached to our home and includes separate entry, complete privacy in the unit, has its own upstairs deck, and includes the use of our shared lower deck and hot tub. The kitchen is a "kitchenette" with no stove, but we do provide a single burner hot plate. Come practice "Shin Rin Yoku", the the stress- reducing essence of the forest. Trails, benches and platforms throughout the property provide a place to sit, enjoy the clean air, meditate, or do yoga.

McMinnville Farm with a view, close to town!

The brick home sits in the middle of about a 100 acre farm, of which 90 acres are hazelnuts. It sits on a hill, bordered by the North Yamhill River on one side and Hwy 47 on another side, with Poverty Bend Rd on the 3rd side. On the 4th side are grass seed fields belonging to another farmer. We will generally be available, but not intrusive. You might see John and Judy weeding the flower beds or picking apples or figs!! We can also take you wine tasting if you like!!
