This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. Nestled in the heart of the scenic Cooley Mountains, our 3 bedroom home is ready to welcome new visitors. Home is ideally located to the M1 motorway, The Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort, The Lumpers Bar aswell as a variety of beaches and restaurants of choice. Dundalk town is approximately 12 minute drive away. Other things to note: Mini market and pharmacy is approximately 3 minute drive away located at McCrystals XL Supermarket, all grocery and essentials are available.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

This beautiful little cottage is close to the village centre and is perfect for couples looking a relaxing trip. The stunning views can be enjoyed on the deck along with the hot tub. The hot tub is available at a cost of 30 euro please advise day before as it takes time to fill and heat up. We also offer bike hire and BBQ hire. Must be Paid prior to arrival and notice given to switch on. Christmas/New year Holidays and all bank holidays are 20 percent extra
