This is our 2nd stay here, and we have loved both visits! The kids love the pool, we love to walk to the beach and to town. Such a great house in a great location!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The studio apartment was beautifully decorated with stylish touches throughout — even better than the photos. It was by far the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at — absolutely spotless. Having our own private hot tub right outside the door was such a treat and made our stay feel even more special. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful, and we felt genuinely welcomed by the hosts. They were extremely responsive and quick to reply to any questions we had. We would definitely love to stay here again!

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

We had such a wonderful few days at the Mermaid Lagoon. The house was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We felt right at home. We will definitely come back.

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

We had the best time here, its exactly like the pictures and the host goes above and beyond with recommendations/ items provided and cleanliness!

Had a lovely weekend stay here as first timers in OBX. The airbnb was clean, had a fun and cozy vibe, and felt safe. Our french bulldog felt at home too! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations on which beaches allow dogs.

We loved staying at Michael’s place! It is everything you need and very much worth the price. Michael was very responsive and even let us know that we could leave a bit later than checkout time, due to when the cleaners were coming. The house was well equipped, very cute and clean, and even closer to the beach than it seems in the listing. If you are traveling to OBX for fishing, the location makes it easy as it’s walking distance from beach access and a great pier! Michael’s place was also extremely dog friendly, and even included signs around that offered helpful tips for navigating OBX with your pup. Overall, this Airbnb had everything we needed and more, and we would definitely stay again!

Awesome stay. The house is awesome and in a quiet neighborhood tucked away but not far at all from the beach, sound, and all the restaurants/bars. Very dog friendly with everything gated in and we loved the big backyard. I love a good deck and this house has a lot of good deck space including a rooftop deck which was super nice for sunsets. Very clean when we got there and had no issues at all. Perfect spot for a lil getaway with a few friends or family 🤙🏼

Host was very nice and helpful. She answered all questions! Great place very peaceful and quiet while close to everything.

The Bombshell was a great getaway home for a long weekend in OBX! We love this part of Kill Devil Hills because there is so much to walk to and do close by. The house was comfortable and had great little touches (like bowls and leashes!) for our dog. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed meals on the screened-in porch. We would stay here again!

My family loved our spring break trip to the Beach Barn. The house is in an amazing location just a short walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. The central location in Nags Head is the perfect jumping off point for exploring all parts of the Outer Banks. Alison provided excellent instructions and flexibility with check-in, and was very responsive when we had a minor issue with the washing machine during our stay. The house itself has everything you would need for a beach vacation, especially with kids. There were toys, books, games, and beach supplies available. Amy kids particularly loved the Super Mario Brothers monopoly and bunk beds. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! Everything was exactly as described. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. We also really appreciated how kind and responsive the host was through messages. We would definitely stay here again! ♥️♥️♥️

Mary’s place was perfect for myself and the pup for our four night stay in Nags Head. It’s comfortable and has everything you need to unwind and enjoy the proximity to the beach (1 block!) along with great area restaurants, coffee shops and other amenities. The bungalow layout on the property is nicely set back from the other rental home in a way that provides for a bit of privacy which was perfect. Mary was so generous with recommendations on things to do and how to make the most out of our stay. Highly recommend!

The condo is in a great spot with some nice amenities. The tennis courts were empty, so it was easy to play if you wanted, and while I didn’t swim since it wasn’t the season, the pool looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The location is perfect—close to Bay Drive with the wide sound-side walking path and an easy walk to the monument. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit (this was mentioned in the listing, so I knew ahead of time). I didn’t mind at all, and the upside is no one above you and amazing views from the porch. The condo is simple but had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable. It’s also absolutely spotless—they clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it clean, which was so reassuring. Easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for hosting!

Grouper Therapy is conveniently located - walkable to beach, sound, restaurants/stores in Duck, and neighborhood pool. The house had a floor plan with 3 King bedrooms + 1 more that worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was well appointed - provides everything you need if you want to cook in. We appreciated all the extras provided - high chair, beach chairs, carts, tv in every bedroom. Our family really enjoyed our week in Duck.

Spacious home with high end furniture, window treatments and other amenities. Incredibly outfitted kitchen with multiple small appliances and cookware. Bedrooms were huge and beautifully decorated. Four full bathrooms and one half bath made it convenient for all of us. Pool was a huge hit with our family. Convenient mini kitchen on ground floor was a great addition! Neighborhood was so beautiful, private, and nice to walk.

Connie’s place was wonderful! I was blown away by how much was available for us to use in the kitchen! Every utensil, appliance, even basic ingredients I needed and more was available. It was a quick walk to the beach, bikes were available too and we enjoyed them. My toddlers LOVED the hot tub. If you plan to visit and stay here, remember there are NO linens. Only blankets and pillow cases. There are not even hand towels in bathrooms or wash clothes, just the kitchen towels! Pack accordingly. Since we came in the off season, some things were still closed for the year. We found that there was much more to do up in Duck/Nags Head, but the drive up was enjoyable and serene. :) Connie was super accommodating and has impeccable communication. We’d love to stay here again some day.

Even with all the rain during our beach week, we had a great time at this dog-friendly cottage. The screened-in porches made catching up with family outside bug free. Nice pool, corn hole and hammock were nice to have as well. Short walk down quiet unpaved street to beautiful beach. So many restaurants & activities nearby!

Great house and great host. Had to make a last second change from a previous house we were staying in and Michelle was able to fit us in the night we asked and even before our allotted time. Made sure we had everything we needed and was always responsive. Very appreciative for her and her flexibility. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to stay here.

Several areas on property to gather and dine, but also many areas to read quietly away from the group Plentiful kitchen supplies, very well outfitted with silverware and dinnerware Jorge answered all our questions quickly and accurately We hope to return to this area and will plan to stay again

2nd time booking with Rick in Duck. Perfect location, peaceful & quiet. Love the shower upgrade in the master bath!! His place never disappoints on the views & more important, comfort. We had a great stay!
