This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

I loved this place, it was an amazing home away from home that I could enjoy and relax after a mentally busy day. Jeanette was amazing in making sure my needs were met. I loved it so much I’m coming back to stay for 2 weeks.

Very nice place to stay for our visit to Cape Charles. The spot is perfectly situated in the heart of Cape Charles on Main Street. Walkable to everything imaginable, including the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Was happy that the unit is soundproof so could not hear anything that was going on out on Main Street. Everything was very clean immaculate and it was a super fun place to stay with the retro kitchen and oversized balcony

Great location. Comfortable beds. Clean. Host is responsive. Note that the only way to bathroom is through one of the bedrooms.

it was just right for my family for Easter weekend and local business we had to take care of. we were even able to check out the local eating spots and movie/entertainment park.

We had a great stay! The communication before our visit was very proactive, and set us up very well for our trip. Ebrahim is a very responsive host and the property was as described and clean. We would recommend and would stay here again if in the area!

The house was very family and pet friendly, however, if you don’t have either you will still love the spaces. Loved the front porch and all the little extras in every room.

The place was charming, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The selection of board games was a great touch—especially when my grandkids came to visit. We really appreciated the motion-sensor light at the front of the house; it made arriving at night so much easier. The backyard was spacious and well-kept, though we didn’t get to enjoy it much because of the pollen. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the comfort of the king-size bed. David was incredibly responsive and helpful before and during our visit. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town visiting family.

I had never stayed inside a host’s home before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Elinita was a great communicator and anything I needed was provided. She even loaned me a yoga mat and got a folding chair as the bedroom has no seating. She was exactly as other reviewers described- friendly, considerate, communicative. I was four minutes from my son’s house and would not hesitate to book with Elinita again.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.
