This home, located on 7 acres, has two master suites, each with king size beds, and their own private bathrooms. It's located 10 minutes from Volcan off the road to Rio Sereno. Mountain springs and streams, pure spring water to drink, beautiful pastures with horses, hiking trails, and a spring fed swimming pool. We have spectacular old growth cloud forest, including birds, monkeys, squirrels etc. But most of all...tranquility, privacy, and relaxation. We promise...you'll love The Emerald Forest.

Our Hacienda sits on 40 Acres of land that was once one of the areas original Coffee plantations. Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. En caso de visitarnos con mascotas se debe cancelar a la hora del check in $20 / ¢10.000 por la primera noche de estadía de las mascotas y $10 / ¢5000 por cada noche extra.
