Mid-Century Modern A-Frame Secluded with Hot Tub

Secluded mid-century modern A-Frame cabin located in the Pine Hills community of historic Julian, CA. Built in 1969, the cabin completed a 2.5 year renovation in 2023 to meet modern tastes and amenities but keeps the original 60's groovy vibe. This unique family retreat offers a 900 sq ft deck, hot tub, firepits, and stunning views. Julian, a 1.5 hours drive east from San Diego, is a small town with big activities: hiking, biking, fishing, winery/breweries, winter sledding, apple pie eating.

Perched 800ft above sea level with panoramic ocean views from La Jolla to Catalina Island, Casa Grotto is a unique stone studio carved into the ocean view hillside of Lake San Marcos . Built in the 80's using stone from the mountain, the space was updated in 2025 with modern touches—featuring a rock shower, full kitchen, AC, and gym. Just 20 minutes from the beach, it’s a dreamy escape for surfers, hikers, and couples looking for a romantic getaway. No pets—our two friendly boxers live on-site

The High Country Hobo Preserve: Rustic Cabin

Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

Pine Valley Cabin on the Meadow

Relax and enjoy this peaceful newly remodeled mountain cabin, a great place to escape and get back to nature. The cabin has mountain views and sits next to a meadow and seasonal stream in Pine Valley, a sleepy mountain town which includes a grocery store, restaurants, and more. From the doorstep, easily access trails for hiking or biking in town and in the nearby Cleveland National Forest. Close to the Laguna Mountains, Viejas Casino, Bear Valley, Lake Cuyamaca, and historic Julian.

You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

It’s tucked into a peaceful, natural setting—great for unwinding, hiking, or simply enjoying time away from the city. The space is bright, clean, and comfortably furnished. Step out onto the private deck for morning coffee or stargazing at night. You're close to scenic trails and just a short drive from Julian if you’re up for a little exploring.

The Brick House Is a Unique "Great Room" Guest House with 1,000 sq. ft. of space located on a 30 acre ranch nestled in the amazing San Diego Mountains. The house is surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest. There are trails on the property with breathtaking views plus direct access to Hiking, Mountain Biking, Trail Running and Horseback Riding. The ranch as a whole is simply beautiful! It is very private, quiet and makes for a great romantic getaway as well.
