The house has a access trail to 35 acre Mason Pond. This newly built home has an abundance of open space with native wood walls and ceilings. The kitchen and living room is on the second floor capturing views of surrounding hills and distant ocean. 2nd fl A/C only .The second floor has sliding glass doors opening to a 36 ft covered deck.The 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor with queen size beds. Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access, and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.

This gorgeous oceanfront house, with breathtaking unobstructed ocean views from the large deck and nearly every room, is owned by classical musicians and is aptly named La Mer (“The Sea”), after a famous orchestral work of the same name. Our sanctuary is private, cozy, spacious, and artistically inspiring. Downtown Belfast is less than 10 minutes away by car.
