Gorgeous and peaceful setting, lovely hosts, really we had the perfect stay! Convenient for day trips to the islands, Fort William, Oban, and other beautiful spots when you want to come back to a cozy retreat. Traveled with 2 teenagers who also fell in love with the Tower, plus walks to Kilchurn Castle, St Conan’s Kirk, and especially the Kirk’s tearoom where new owner Christine does a fantastic lunch and tea with scones. Six stars all around!

Ruth's place is a lovely cosy apartment in a beautiful location! Spotlessly clean and comfortable - perfect for 2. There is everything you need here for your stay and Ruth left us some welcome goodies on arrival. We loved the Orkney cheese! As we stayed here at the end of our fortnight in Scotland - the washing machine came in handy and washing dried really quickly on tbe airer provided. Very peaceful with great views from the decking area - great to sit and hear nothing but birds! It's only a few mins drive into Ullapool. It's walkable but only for the very fit as it's up a steep hill! There a nice walks with stunning views along paths further up the road. We had a really relaxing time here - there's plenty to do in the area and some great restaurants and independent shops in the town. We would highly recommend and found it very good value for money.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr besonders. Tim besitzt ein schlossartiges Anwesen in einem Park mit schönen alten Bäumen und einer herrschaftlichen Auffahrt. Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein gepflegter riesiger Rasen mit Gartenmöbeln, die zum Verweilen bei schönem Wetter einladen. Auf dem riesigen Grundstück stehen außer Sichtweite andere Häuser, die wohl früher der Landwirtschaft dienten? Noch heute kommen manchmal Pfaue auf das Grundstück und auch einige Rehe haben wir gesehen. Das Apartment ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns am ersten Tag sogar einige Eier von ihrer eigenen Hühnern geschenkt! Die Unterkunft können wir sehr empfehlen. Allerdings ist die Anreise mit dem Auto oder Mietwagen empfehlenswert, weil das Anwesen am Stadtrand von Dundee liegt und man erstmal ein paar hundert Meter durch das Grundstück fahren muss, um zum Balmuir House zu gelangen.

We had a wonderful time at MorayView accomodation. The apartment was charming and cozy, with everything travelers need to enjoy the stay. Simone was very nice to us, very welcoming and even baked a little treat for us (which by the way, was very good !). We would go back without a doubt if we were back in the nice Scotland!

Lavender Cottage is amazing! I rented it for one month but could have easily kept living there much longer. It's very cozy and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed and shower were excellent. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need to prepare your own meals is there. The best part of the whole place is probably the sun room. On a sunny day you can sit there in a T-shirt even if it's cold and windy outside! My wife joined me for 10 days and it was quite comfortable for the two of us, but I do think that the space would be a bit tight for four people (what it is listed for). Sheena is the most amazing host. She always responded quickly to questions and was happy to give local recommendations. Knowing that I would arrive with jetlag, she even placed an initial small supply of food in the kitchen! Two minor inconveniences are the lack of an outlet plug in the bathroom and the hard-to-reach kitchen faucet. But overall I highly recommend it.

Lovely few days away very relaxing Charlette was a great host. We hope to go back sometime.

This place is immaculate and Melanie thought of everything including leaving me some bread, milk, and snacks. She was super responsive if I needed anything, including a brief wifi issue. The decor was tasteful and comfortable and everything was super clean when I arrived, with modern and well built fixtures throughout the home. I especially loved this location because it was tucked away in the country with easy access to stores, Loch Ness, Inverness, and all the surrounding areas were just a day trip away. And even though the space is next to their home it was always super quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

Karen's place is ideally placed to explore some of the most popular sites such as Ben Nevis, Loch Ness and Glenfinnan Viaduct. There are stunning views from the terrace and window. It was nice to start the day with such a view. The facilities in the house are of a high standard and a welcome hamper was a pleasant surprise, as well as a basket of things for the doggie. The apartment is dog-friendly, ours little bugg felt very comfortable here. We had a truly wonderful time here. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place ☺️

We had a fabulous stay in this cozy accommodation which was very tastefully decorated , homely and spotlessly clean. Although compact it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Francis was very responsive and recommended local restaurants which was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! From the start, Jenye was friendly, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, making the entire experience seamless. The location was perfect—private and peaceful, yet within a short drive for restaurants and walking distance to the beach through the beautiful Fairy Glen. The property itself had all the amenities we could ask for, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. I highly recommend Jenye's place.

We really liked our stay at Alana’s place! It’s a very cute and cozy studio, had everything we need. The location not far from the Oban’s city center, and also very private and quiet. We definitely recommend this place!

The place was very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of space. With a rental car, the parking space was key. And conveniently located for the activities we had planned. Would definitely stay again.

He literally answered any and all my questions within 5 mins plus he was genuinely super friendly and the place was SUPER clean. Considering everything else around was beyond expensive, this was a fantastic deal that you surely won’t regret.

Keith and Tess greeted and met us during check in. They took extra miles to ensure the unit is clean and has everything we need. The loft was fabulous and had everything you needed for a relaxed , pampered stay and more. Loved the decor, comfy bed and recliners. Lovely fluffy towels and little extras were thoughtful. Generous basket of goodies to sustain my walks! Had some fantastic seafood and enjoyed the trip to Knoydart and Morar. Weather was so good . It was Scotland at its best. I was grateful for my lifts to and from the train station. Home and feel I’ve had a great break even though it was just 3 nights Thank you x

We had a wonderful few days in the Hayloft. Dorothy was a fantastic host, even though we didn't meet. We felt welcomed in! The accomodation was super clean, comfy and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting in the garden, taking in some rare Scottish sun and watching the birds. I would definitely love to stay in the Hayloft again <3

The cottage was just as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with chickens roaming around adding a charming countryside feel. Rebecca was a fantastic host: friendly, quick to respond, and very patient with all my questions. I’d love to come back for a longer stay and explore more of the lovely surroundings!

We are just back from a two night stay and can highly recommend the apartment!!! It's in an amazing location with views to die for. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and the Welcome Pack was a lovely/thoughtful touch. If/when we had any questions the host was always very friendly and responsive.
