Casa El Lario is placed in the heart of the Natural Park Los Alcornocales, very close to the charming town Alcala de los Gazules (Cadiz), one of the most magical environments in Andalusia. The over 30.000 m² of extension are completely integrated in the natural park. It is composed of several bushy slopes, full of Mediterranean vegetation. Thus, we can find oaks, galls, pine trees, and plenty of corks. This property is a small but high valuable sample of the extense forest richness that the town treasures. Its high location and proximity to Alcala de los Gazules allows you to experience both beautiful and bright views that become this Andalusian corner a unique place with a beauty like no other. This state served for many years as a resting and recreational area for the different families that lived in it for over two centuries. During the refurbishment of 2014 were created five spacious and comfortable rural apartments of one, two and three bedrooms. No alteration was caused to the stately and elegant architecture of the original house, nor to the perfect integration with the natural environment that surrounds it. All the apartments are carefully furnished and decorated. They include WIFI, cold-hot conditioning, glazed insulation, embedded LED television, living room with integrated kitchen, faux wood ceramic floor and fully equipped bathroom, as well as all the necessary complements for your rest and comfort. The house also includes an outside parking area, an approximately 40m² of water surface swimming pool, a terrace with solarium and over 30.000 m² of forest land, mainly full of corks (some of them centenarian). In the highest side you can access to a small natural viewpoint with views over the natural park, ideal for bird watching lovers.

From reading quietly to watching the sunset from the rooftop — this is your space to slow down and feel at home. All apartments overlook Plaza Candelaria and preserve their original 19th-century wooden ceilings, complemented by traditional Moroccan tile floors that add warmth and character. You’ll have access to the entire house, including the rooftop terrace with cozy seating areas — ideal for relaxing in privacy. From middle of the historic old town it takes only a fews minutes walk to cathedral, playa, market hall and railway station. Plaza Candelaria has been a monastery in former times: Built in 1567 but demolished in 1873 with the aim to build a public square. Within just two minutes’ walk, you’ll find grocery stores, several cafés, excellent restaurants and everything you need.
