Situated on 10 wooded acres and surrounded by farms on rolling hills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, our recently-updated 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect place for your getaway. We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Take a walk on the trail, birdwatch, visit a neighboring vineyard, or chase sticks with your pup--- there are so many ways to unwind at La Casa del Bosque!

Idyllic Cottage Retreat

⭐️ Condé Nast Traveler Approved ⭐️ Cozy cottage nestled on a historic 400-acre Blue Ridge Mountain farm abutting Shenandoah National Park. Every space inside this cozy cottage is creatively styled, with tons of perfectly imperfect charm. Outside, a hammock beneath the elm trees, fire pit and grill, all allow for enjoying the splendor of this peaceful enclave. Excellent day-tripping to many of central Virginia's celebrated wineries and breweries, as well as scenic drives and hiking trails.

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

Gotta golf? Lake View -11 miles Packsaddle- 18 miles To ski or not to ski! That's up to you. Massanutten Resort-20 miles. "Into" Caverns? Grand Caverns 5-miles. Oldest show cave in North America. Wine anyone? Cross Keys Vineyard and Bistro-7 miles Marceline Vineyards-5 miles. Or just chill out!

We are just minutes from Buc-cee’s Rockingham location!!

Situated with perfect views of the outside, the guest quarters space is over 2200 sq ft. and features a lounge/media center, common meeting area, bedrooms & bathrooms, entertainment center with air hockey table and ping pong, and a fully supplied gym.
