Stay just one block from downtown Morganton in this charming home that welcomes both guests and dogs. Inside, you’ll find warmth, character, and comfort in every room — a home designed for rest, laughter, and happy tails. Step inside to find a home that blends vintage warmth with modern comfort — a peaceful retreat for travelers, friends, and families (and their pups) alike. House is not child-proofed *Any undisclosed pets brought onto the property will incur a $150 fee per pet, per night.

Twin added great-room for private sleeping option. Park down to the left of the duplex in front of the single garage door.

Honeycutt Hideaway

We live where neighbors know and care for each other and where grandparents pass land on to their children and grandchildren. That heritage is evidenced by our beautiful local parks! Our town is a sort of traffic nucleus, with Charlotte approximately 1 hour to the east, Asheville less than 1 hour to the west, and Lenoir heading to Boone 20 minutes to the north. We are 5-20 minutes away from 5 hospitals which is perfect for traveling nurses and doctors. We want to add to your travel experience!

Lake James Private Dock Quiet Cove Starlink

Our house is the last on a quiet "no outlet" street on one of the best hidden coves on Lake James. It’s only a couple hundred yards to the main channel and big Mountain View’s and sunsets. Our home is comfortable and expansive. A place to relax, fish, swim, use our 4 kayaks, or tie up your own boat or pontoon rental for your stay. Black Bear, Hidden Cove, or Canal Bridge are the closest boat launches. We now have lightening fast Star-link internet for remote workers and your entertainment!

Beautiful log home! As private as it gets, but still close to everything. 5 acre lot surrounded by trees. Newly upgraded deck with 8 person hot tub. Both bathrooms have just been remodeled. Full workspace with Monitor. 1.5 hours from Charlotte. 45 Minutes to Boone and N. Wilkesboro. 1 hour to Asheville. 10 Minutes from GGL Datacenter. Free charging on our level 2 EV charger. Basement is being remodeled currently. Expect a 4 bed/3 bath house in the next couple of months.
