The location is truly as beautiful as the photos show. So many special touches from decor to the spa like bathroom made the stay extra cozy. The house is extremely well stocked, especially the kitchen and the shed! We loved kayaking. Much more shallow than we anticipated which for us was perfect. The stars were visible while in the hot tub at night. We loved all the available spots to sit and relax. We used the fire pit to stay warm one morning while enjoying the sunrise with our coffee. We used the grill for dinner one night as well as dining out at the recommended local spots. The only minor inconveniences were not having screens on the sliding doors, running out of toilet paper (but the DG grocery is close) and the WiFi went out and Robert never responded to my texts. (I was able to locate and restart the router on my own.) All in all it was a wonderful spot for a quick getaway to unwind!

This cabin was everything we wanted and more! It’s in the perfect location, just a short drive to so many activities but also tucked away offering privacy. The house was so cozy it put us at ease as soon as we walked in. The owner was proactive and very quick to respond, including sending a great packing and local activity list a couple days in advance of our trip which came in very handy. Activities: This rental comes with guest passes to the private Shark Tooth Beach where our kids had so much fun finding real shark and manta ray teeth in the sand! Westmorland State Park and George Washington’s Birthplace both had great hiking and beaches for the kids. We visited Garners Produce twice where the kids fed animals and pedaled toy tractor’s while we picked up farm fresh milk and eggs. We spent our afternoons kayaking on the quiet lake soaking up the sunshine. We will definitely book another vacation at this cabin. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this little gem!

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

We came here for a retirement celebration with our kids and grandkids. The house is amazing, very large and offered each of us places to gather for conversation and games, plus places to retreat when we needed some quiet. We visited Stafford Hall for their Christmastide event and for hunting shark teeth on the beach. Much fun for the kids. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect relaxing getaway spot, you can see water from almost anywhere in the house with windows lining the outside walls. Plus there are two lovely decks and a private pier for you to go outside and soak in the beautiful scenery. The furniture inside is comfortable and the kitchen has the amenities you need to cook or heat up food. The surrounding area does not have much to offer but we were looking to relax, read, do some puzzles and just look out onto the water which this house was perfect for that. The hosts were very friendly and responsive making sure our stay was up to expectations. The only thing I would say is the beds are not the best, if I came back I would probably bring a Queen air mattress I have but even still I will definitely look to stay here again in the future! My sister and I loved it and lots of our friends asked for the listing from pictures we sent, absolutely beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this AIRBNB. It was walking distance to a nice Mexican Restaurant as well as to a brewery. We spent hours on the front porch in the nice rocking chairs. The back of the property overlooked the water which was beautiful! It was close to everything in town! The house was clean and had all of the necessities. We also enjoyed the front sitting area during the morning. The owner was responsive and helpful! We would definitely recommend this property.

We were 4 adults and 1 child (9y). We absolutely loved our stay at Jackie’s place. She was proactive in her communication and very flexible. She was able to offer as an extra night for free. We understand that this will not always be possible but it isn’t the norm nowadays anymore and it shows she goes above and beyond for her customers. The house was close to the beach, clean and everything was just as described online. We loved the quiet area, perfect for families with children or people who don’t like overcrowded beaches. Our boy loved catching jelly fish, collecting rocks and shells and of course being in the water. Our favorite restaurant was high tides (yummy cocktails and the best fish and chips basket). We also ventured out to see James Monroe’s and George Washington’s birthplace which were only a 20 minutes drive away and really worth a visit. Jackie, thank you for everything!

We had an amazing time at Angela and Billie's beachfront property! We took our 9 week old puppy and she enjoyed it just as much as we did. The privacy of the beach was spectacular as well as having access to their kayaks. We brought food with us and cooked each day, the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil we would look for. As a neat freak I appreciated the attention to cleanliness in all aspects of the property. If you are looking to book this place, do it!! You won't regret it.

This house was absolutely gorgeous! It has everything you need ! It was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The view every morning was beautiful. We had so much fun and it was so peaceful. We will be back for sure
