Come stay in our peaceful and centrally-located home in the Most Beautiful Small Town in America. We renovated this home with guests in mind, to make it a clean and comfortable space to come and relax while visiting Bardstown! Located near Saint Joseph Proto Cathedral, you will be in walking distance of all things Downtown Bardstown. We have 3 bedrooms, a living space with basic cable and access to streaming sites, washer/dryer, renovated bathrooms and kitchen. On site parking for 2-3 vehicles.

Welcome to the Barton House - your home away from home near the Bourbon trail, wineries, and more! The Barton house gets its name from its close proximity to the Barton 1792 distillery & view of Barton rickhouses from the front door. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood & is a 5 min. drive to the dinner train and quaint streets of downtown Bardstown. It is a short 10 min. drive to many of the distilleries and wineries. Our "Cottage in the Rye" is your home away from home while you explore the Bourbon trail. But don't let the word "cottage" fool you! With room to sleep 6+ guests, 2 1/2 baths, a large LR, kitchen, DR and partially finished basement, there is plenty of space to spread out comfortably. Tired of driving from your travels? The cottage is a five minute walk to Court Square, where you can find a hot meal, a bourbon on the rocks in the local speak easy or a soda pop at the local drug store.

The Goldenrod Cottage

This charming and cozy cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Bardstown where you can experience unique shops, bars and restaurants, and the BOURBON FESTIVAL!!!. The Goldenrod Cottage is located on a corner lot with green space next door and woods across the street. Updates to bathroom and kitchen were completed in August 2025. This one bedroom, one bath home has hardwood floors, a cozy front porch and all the comforts of home.
