We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

OFF MAIN DOWNTOWN BV COTTAGE is close to everything downtown in Buena Vista. Main street restaurants (1 minute walk), South Main (4 blocks away), river surfing, whitewater, skate park, bouldering, dirt pump track and endless hiking are just a few minutes walk away. The cottage is small and cozy with a king bed in one bedroom and a queen in the second room. The two rooms share a single bathroom.
