Set amongst native gum and banksia the cabin overlooks the clear waters of little Norfolk Bay. Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach or 10 minutes by car.

Oysterhouse: Luxury & privacy at the water's edge

Once known as Millingtons House, Sunways is a light-filled 1925 home just steps from the river and a short stroll to the ocean beach.
