The Burrows, coastal luxury with incredible views

Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage we have sensitively reimagined & restored, opening it up to take in the ever changing view over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

With every booking we offer a complementary bottle of Tasmanian wine, sparkling or juice . Blackshack Orford is a lovely modern and relaxing holiday home just one hours drive from Hobart. You instantly feel “at home” at the blackshack. Please Note: Our very last booking weekend will be the 5th June 2026 to allow us to prepare for the sale of our Airbnb/home. Hopefully we can sell as an ongoing business so that you can all still enjoy this amazing space

Once known as Millingtons House, Sunways is a light-filled 1925 home just steps from the river and a short stroll to the ocean beach. With two spacious queen bedrooms, a fresh bathroom featuring Salus botanicals, and a sunroom made for lazy afternoons, it’s a place to slow down. Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings.
