Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". A cosy self-contained apartment joined to a beautiful 18th century cottage. Nestled in the rural surroundings of the Campsie Fells and Fintry Hills, this welcoming accommodation has been converted specifically as its own independent holiday home. Perfect for two, but can sleep up to four. Due to its design and unique features, the property is not suitable for under 12's.
