Great place for our one night pit stop in Hobart!

We spent our first child-free weekend in almost two years at Marina and Uwe’s home, and it felt like a grown-up paradise. With no tv, a spectacular view to wake up to, a snuggly bed that was the adult equivalent of a bunk, and surrounded by the warmth of timber we had a relaxed weekend that focused on disconnecting from the frenetic pace of Sydney life. The location was excellent for those with a car and not wanting to stay in the CBD. We hope to be able to visit again.

Thank you Mieke for hosting us! We adored the peace & quiet, beautiful surroundings and ease of access to a plethora of walking trails. The views, especially at sunrise, were just stunning. The deep spa bath was a welcome treat after a long hike 🙂

Where to begin. Rob and Susan’s place is so incredibly special. We loved every minute of our stay. The place is so beautiful and such a gorgeous piece of history, we felt so grateful to be there, seeing the Richmond bridge from the window. The location is stunning, and walking distance to all of the sites in Richmond. Rob and Susan are such passionate hosts, and clearly put in so much work to make sure everything is perfect, including the generous breakfast provisions (including freshly baked bread!), the lovely decor and furnishings, and the super impressive DVD collection. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would love to come back one day.

We had a wonderful time in the Boat House. The views are amazing, it’s very nice and quiet and the house is exactly as described. We would definitely book it again!

Very nice stay here. Super clean, well laid out and had everything we needed and more. Bed comfy, kitchen well equipped, bathroom big, loads of appliances. Could recommend more highly.

Court séjour chez Robyn mais très agréable. Bel environnement et paisible. Le logement est aussi pratique que bien décoré, ambiance vintage mais pas « vieux » comme on peut le ressentir dans d’autres hébergements. Robyn est très avenante et donne bonnes adresses. Merci beaucoup.

I had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. The host was welcoming and the house was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and great weather. The host also recommended some excellent restaurants nearby, which made dining out a breeze. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

It was the right place for me. Quiet, central for bushwalking, helpfull owner... a really god base to slow down.

We have stayed in airbnbs for over 10 years and this is hands down the best one we have ever stayed in! Pip & Pete the hosts were so amazingly kind and helpful, facilitated early check ins and late check outs for us and even shared a wine on the balcony with their gorgeous dog Boomer. The place was full of little touches that made our week long stay fly by. The place is magical and so private, perched overlooking mt Wellington amongst the Tassie bush with awesome amenities like a pool, sauna and picturesque tennis court. Couldn’t fault it. Unmissable if you’re travelling to Tassie!

A peaceful and luxurious feel to the accommodation, Casey was a wonderful host and it is clear that she prides herself on providing an amazing experience for guests. Beautiful decor and space!

Kayes place was very relaxing and peaceful. Great view of the bridge and only a 10 minute drive into the city. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Hobart

We loved the country setting and did the beautiful local bush walk the next morning. A very cosy room and quiet pocket of bush nearby with views of the ocean made our stay super. Much gratitude for Rosies extra pantry items and safe area to relax in. Thanks very much indeed, if we come to Tassie again we will most likely stop in to stay xx

Despite some mishaps from my part on certainty of plans, Hazel was nothing but kind and generous to me and my newly wedded wife! We brought our dog along too and she was very welcoming to us all. Having a complimentary cheese platter was already so kind, but Hazel also gave us sparkling bubbles to celebrate with which was so lovely! The space is cozy, comes with eazy eats, was absolutely comfortable, and accomodating to pets - all for a really great price! Would come again :)

A wonderful private nook in the heart of eastern Hobart. Right near the bridge with a beautiful view, a convenient location for our stay. Perfectly catered for with comfortable bed, small kitchen and large bathroom, it was everything we needed, thank you!!

Bridgecroft Villa is absolutely gorgeous! This is definitely one of the loveliest Airbnbs I have stayed in. Everything is quality here, from the beautiful linens to the coffee machine with takeaway cups provided. We loved time in the outdoor spa under the stars. The area is lovely and quite but only a couple of minutes to the town centre which is definitely one of Tassie's best heritage towns. This place will be first on our list to book again when we are in the area. Thank you!

We loved our stay in the Shoemakers Cottage. It is so homely and comfortable. Everything has been thought of. It’s close to town and is an easy walk. We enjoyed it so much we bought groceries & local wine and cooked so we could relax and soak it all in rather than having to dress and head out for dinner each night. We only wish we had longer there. We will definitely stay again when we return to Tassie.

Tracey was very responsive and helpful. She kindly left the heater on in preparation for our arrival. Location was convenient as well, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This unit was beautiful easy to find with carport at front door,the views are amazing it’s so modern & fresh and has everything you’d need there,fabulous king size bed,lovely linen & all new appliances from washer,dryer,fridge to coffee machine toaster jug plenty of pantry stables & the city lights & casino are so nice to have in the background of a night time,we used Ubers to Salamanca Markets twice as parking is a bit hectic down there only about $11 each way. Easy parking at Sandy Bay shopping area lots a nice restaurants,takeaways & specialty shops,Coles & Woolworths ,pharmacy and Drs it’s just a great spot,I would recommend Prue’s accommodation (actually I have a friend just booked on my recommendation) and we’d definitely stay again if ever in Hobart Thanks Prue We loved every minute of your unit

The house is located in a beautiful patt of South Arm. Gorgeous place with lots of space, comfortable beds, and magnificent views!! We loved cozying up the living room after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. Closer to towns like Richmond and 30 mins to Hobart. We also loved walking down the trail below the property and going down to Opossum Bay. Emma is such a great host, very responsive and gave plenty of local recommendations. She also, very thoughtfully. left a bottle of bubbles and biscuits for us to enjoy :) We had 3 amazing nights there and did not feel like leaving. Thank you again for having us! It was such a treat :)

Simon's place in Sandy Bay was fantastic. The space itself was large, well furnished, and had all the creature comforts and was exceptionally clean. The location was great. The place was quiet and private. It was close to Hobart and attractions around the city were only a short drive away. Two very minor issues (if you would call them that) were that the bed was a little soft compared to what we're used to, and the sound from movement upstairs could be heard from our accommodation. Overall, it was an excellent apartment and I would recommend to others.
