It is shaped like a giant half wine barrel, made of wood externally & internally. Insulation is Welsh sheep’s wool and indeed the Cabin was designed and manufactured by hand in Wales. It is off-grid, powered by state of the art solar panels with energy stored in batteries which can be monitored from within the Cabin

Sofa and full kitchen inside. We are surrounded by lovely countryside. But also only a 10 minute walk into Long Melford. Which has lots of pubs and restaurants. The lodges are our own design. You will not find anything like them in the country. Totally unique. You can fish the lake. Or swim in it.

This light and airy cabin set in rural Hertfordshire is the perfect spot to relax. It's a romantic getaway for a couple, comfortable for a couple with two children. We are close to wedding venues Sandon Manor (1.5m) Milling Barn, (5m) The Barn at Alswick (6m) and South Farm wedding venues. We also have another self-contained Airbnb on site, Two&aHalf Flint Cottages, should you need more sleeping space. This needs to be booked separately.
