The Rumster Hut

Get away from it all when you stay in our cosy shepherds hut. Set 2 miles from the NC500 route near the village of Lybster in a rural spot. Get ready for country views and big dark skies at night. An ideal spot to capture the aurora borealis or see the wild deer roaming the surrounding fields. Our cosy cabin is capable of sleeping up to 2 adults and 1 child. The cabin has an induction hob for cooking, and comes with its own seperate bathroom facility next door plus an outside firepit area.

Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Ethel's Cottage: Idyllic Riverside 1 Bed Cottage

The recently refurbished and modernised Ethel's Cottage is in an idyllic location, flanked by two rivers. This gate lodge cottage offers the perfect place to stay for a few nights or longer! Easily accessed from the A9 (on the NC500 route) and just a two-minute walk from a secluded beach and estuary with lots of short walks from the front door and plenty longer ones in the vicinity. Modern appliances and comfortable furnishings, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing break.

Valhalla View-NC500

Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Fishers Rest

Fishers Rest is a charming one-bedroom chalet in Lybster, in the Scottish Highlands. Breath taking cliffs and a view over the harbour, unwind in the hot tub on the private decking. This secluded retreat serves as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Caithness region or as a stop along the famous North Coast 500 route. Torran Cottage - Views, Exclusivity & Tranquility

Torran Cottage is nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flow Country! Whilst superbly modernised throughout, the cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings. The views from the hot tub and gardens are unbelievable. Panoramic vistas look east to Morven and the Scarabens, south to Ben Klibreck and west to distant views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope.

Bromach Lodge at Craiglea

Located along the NC500 amidst the breath-taking landscapes of the Scottish Highlands with panoramic views out towards the Moray Firth. A cosy and fully insulated cabin. Breathtaking and inspiring sea views across the Moray Firth and Dunbeath Harbour. We make and deliver freshly made pizzas and licenced drinks to your cabin. With The cabin comes complete with an en-suite shower room and kitchenette. Quality towels and bedding, Smart TV and WIFI are provided. This cabin has a double bed, French doors onto a gravelled private area with patio furniture perfect for enjoying a drink, the views and sea air.

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a semi-wild orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

BERRISCUE HOUSE - ENTIRE COTTAGE - THURSO

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.
