Cottage Nestled within old Cotswold Farmhouse

Take your first glimpse of the rolling fields surrounding our traditional Cotswold stone farmstead, as you travel along our private, tree lined drive. In an AONB, the farmstead sits on the edge of the Golden Valley. Dating back to the 1700s, Little Finch's Cottage is nestled within the original Farmhouse, where you can still find exposed beams and sunny window seats. Step through Little Finch's front door into the lounge/breakfast room which is linked to the bedroom by a steep spiral staircase.

The cottage is set within the beautiful Cotswold village of Bisley, with its two pubs and village shop/post office. It is set out over three floors and comprises of an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with an exposed stone fireplace with woodburner, TV, wifi and a well equipped kitchen. A very steep wooden staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom and bathroom/w.c. Another steep staircase leads to the second floor which comprises of a twin bedroom and a bathroom/w.c.

It has a log burner , with logs supplied, for cosy nights by the fire , Netflix on a smart tv , and everything you need for a relaxing break. There is a small country pub The Kings Head within a 5 minute walk. The cottage has the benefit of off road parking on a shared drive. A great base to explore Cirencester , Stroud and many lovely surrounding villages.

Nearby is the disused Thames Severn Canal with its delightful paths to Sapperton and Stroud. There is also a wide variety of beautiful wooded, grassland and meadow walks. With a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen downstairs, luxurious bedroom and en suite shower room upstairs and suntrap terrace for morning coffee it is ideal for 2 but can take 4 at a squeeze. Nick, your host lives 2 minutes walk away, and is happy to recommend things to do and see.

Several popular pubs to walk to; 'Kings Head' France Lynch, 'The Crown' Frampton Mansell, 'Daneway Inn' Sapperton and 'Butchers Arms' Oakridge. There is a village shop in Eastcombe and Oakridge.
