This hike-in, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

The Cedar Grove at New Frontiers Retreat

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. With ramp access and wider doorways, the dome is spacious and comfortable. Everything needed for a get-away is provided with a king bed, kitchenette, and half bath with an outdoor shower. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Bonnechere River and the forest setting, there is plenty of natural playground to explore as well as many activities to provide family fun.

Northwoods Cottage: Private lakefront + fireplace

Private waterfront on Golden Lake - 90 minutes from Ottawa, and you can’t see a neighbour from the property. Architect-designed, sleeps 10, two full baths.
