Single bush retreat: Birdhide

No TV, BYO Wifi. 20' basic container. Single trundle bed. Surrounded by native bush garden, on beautiful Land for Wildlife. It's small. It's unpretentious. There's a ceiling fan when the breeze is off duty. Enjoy the shower deck. Kitchen has sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pod thingamajig. You'll need a car: We're 7 min to the shops, 13 minutes to the river, 15 minutes to the surf, 25 min to the hinterland waterfalls but only 0 minutes to tranquility. Host on premises.

Our private Guest House is just a short stroll from beautiful Mudjimba beach offering you a relaxing romantic getaway or a creative space to work. A full kitchen includes a coffee maker, although we highly recommend the local cafes and restaurants which are an easy walk away. The Aviary is a private, tranquil cabin sitting in a section of our garden, away from the main house. It is surrounded by trees and bushes, perfect to relax, unwind and listen to an array of birds and wildlife. Diddillibah is a great base for exploring the coast. A 10min drive to beaches, shops and restaurants. A 15 min drive and you can be up in the beautiful hinterland.

Subtropical privacy and serenity surround the accommodation areas, set in tropical gardens . If you enjoy gardens, there is always something flowering in the garden or treetops. Guests awake to the calls of many bird varieties in the surrounding trees. Within the rambling gardens is a landscaped pool available to guests, as is the adjacent fire pit for evening enjoyment.
